Radio Weaver

Radio Weaver is an internet based station, and was founded in 2023 to fill a hole in the radio field in Cheshire and surrounding areas in the the Northwest of England.

The station, when up and running, will play varied genres from across the board, Soul, Funk & Disco 1960’s right through to todays charts. We hope to bring you specialised shows such as, Soft Rock, Tamla Motown, and many moreas well as local unsigned artistes, whilst also taking live requests via our Website, Emails, Facebook and Twitter, and by phone as well, or texting into the studio.

Our main job right now as a new station, is to recruit Presenters to do live shows.

The funding to keep the station running has been a strain on the bank balance, so we were forced to add a “Donation” button on the home page, to help get the station off the ground and help keep it on the air.

The manager who founded and took control of the stations direction, which included introducing terms and conditions for the presenters, and continued to concentrate on the day to day running of the station which includes the scheduling of shows.

We introduced the new music policies together with the much needed merchandising & marketing that was needed to update and help make the station what it is today.
