Fun Kids is a national children’s and pop digital radio station in the United Kingdom with associated websites, YouTube and podcast channels. It has previously been the winner of the Sony and Arqiva Digital Radio Stations of the year. It is operated by Children’s Radio UK Ltd.
Fun Kids is a radio station for children and their families. Our programmes are specifically for children aged 7 to 12, but we also have some pre-school programming which we broadcast under the Fun Kids Junior banner (weekdays 9am to 3pm).
As will come as no surprise, this includes a lot of songs! Some are from TV shows or kids’ films and others are from the charts. Some are from nowhere in particular but we know that a high proportion of five year olds stand up and jiggle when they come on.
There are also lots of stories on Fun Kids every day and a steady stream of competitions and news about events.
After 9pm, the music changes with songs to relax and chill out too – mainly for the benefit of the grown-ups, but safe for children to listen to as well.
