Classic FM

The music you have broadcast during the last few weeks has been disappointing in the extreme: it should be evident from the name of your station – CLASSIC FM – that people choose to listen to it because it plays classical music – instead of which we have been subjected to a steady stream of inane Christmas jingles – and the carols have been made to sound SO depressing – slow and miserable – the complete opposite of the Christmas message. I have been too busy to change the station – so instead of being relaxed by beautiful music I have been precisely the opposite – to the extent now that whereas when I was younger I used to enjoy carols – I have now had more than my fill and feel annoyed when I hear them. Such a real shame.

Am I the only one of your listeners who is being driven mad by your constant plugging of the weekly cash prize….does this perhaps make up for dwindling advertising revenue
